Description:
A strong community response is essential in order to best support survivors of sexual assault. We must rely on the expertise of many to ensure that victims receive services that will help them heal from the trauma. This session will provide the audience with an understanding of the Child Advocacy Center model and best practice standards of the multidisciplinary team in child abuse cases.
Learning Outcome:
At the conclusion of the activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to describe the different roles and responses of our interprofessional partners in their work with and support of survivors of sexual violence.
