Human Trafficking occurs in New Hampshire every day and is a social issue that affects all communities in many ways. Brigid’s House of Hope is a long term, transitional safe house for survivors of human trafficking in New Hampshire and surrounding areas. In this session, healthcare providers will learn about Brigid’s House of Hope, the services provided and the ultimate goal to equip the survivors of trafficking with the skills and resources necessary to prevent re-exploitation.
Learning Outcome:
At the conclusion of the activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to describe the benefits of specialized human trafficking residential facilities, including the spectrum of the services provided and appropriate referral processes.
