Innovation in nursing: What is it? We have learned that nursing innovation is important and is, in fact, fundamental to ensure and develop quality of care. But, what exactly are we referring to when we talk about nursing innovation? Join us as we define innovation and describe innovation methodology: specifically design thinking and human-centered design. Learn more about different examples of ways to best elicit ideas from the frontlines. You may be surprised to find out what is happening in our industry as we showcase new and different models of care!
Learning Outcome:
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss how nursing innovation can improve outcomes at the point of care.
