Danielle has been a family Nurse Practitioner since 1995. She has spent over half her professional life in primary care in both rural southern VT and more recently at DHMC championing diabetes care as an inpatient endocrinology NP and acting as the Clinical Director of the patient centric, Diabetes Management and Education Center of Excellence at DHMC. She received her MSN from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and her MPH from Dartmouth College. Danielle has been an active member of DH’s Member Advanced Practice Advisory Council since 2009.
Danielle is a former 400 and 100 meter high hurdler and was once the Statue of Liberty in the Wardsboro, Vermont Fourth of July Parade.
Heidi Johnson APRN moved here from Maine and has been
working here in the Section of Endocrine for the past 15 years. She
received her MSN from Walden University and has been an NP in Endocrinology for
the last eight years. She specializes in Geriatric Medicine, insulin
safety is a passion of hers as is teaching residents. She also specializes in baking
and chasing grandchildren.
