Description:
Senior year is an exciting time for all Colby-Sawyer College (CSC) students, including registered nurses (RN) and respiratory therapists (RT) who are enrolled in baccalaureate (BS) programs. During the capstone experience, RNBS & RTBS students work side-by-side with faculty, mentors, and other interprofessional colleagues to address topics that are significant to healthcare.
Join us as we learn from several CSC RNBS & RTBS students as they present their capstone projects. Topics include tracheostomy tubes/surgical airways, pleurX catheters, asthma, postpartum hypertension, delirium, surgical attire, chest physiotherapy, IV insertion, self-proning, simulation-based learning, vaccinations, nursing documentation burden, and critical lab value reporting.
Learning Outcome:
At the conclusion of the learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss the unique experiences of undergraduate RNBS & RTBS students in a practice-based clinical setting.
