On Monday, June 4, 2025, we welcomed Ashley Johnson for her talk on The Do’s and Don’ts of Deprescribing.
Ashley E. Johnson, PharmD, BCPS is the Clinical Pharmacist Lead for Hospice, Pain, and Palliative Care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Johnson earned her doctor of pharmacy degree in 2017 from the University of Connecticut. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency followed by a PGY2 pharmacy residency in pain management and palliative care.
Dr. Johnson joined the team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in August 2019 in her current role as Clinical Pharmacist Lead. In this role, she provides clinical and operational support to the institution and health system with particular focus on the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care. She serves as the pharmacist co-chair for the system Opioid Stewardship & Opioid Use Disorder Committee and Formulary Panel of P&T. Most recently, she has taken on the role of program director for the inpatient PGY1 pharmacy residency.
