Hello APP Colleagues,
On Monday, June 16, 2025, we welcomed Laura McKee, APRN for her talk on Bedside Nursing: The Cornerstone of Compassionate and Competent CMO Care.
Laura McKee, APRN is a Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in oncology and palliative care. Born and raised in Connecticut, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University before beginning her career as a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital.
During her eight years in nursing, Laura specialized in hematology oncology and stem cell transplant care, developing deep expertise in supporting patients through complex treatments.
Driven by a passion for palliative and hospice care, Laura pursued her Master of Science in Nursing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care at Quinnipiac University. She is now completing an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Dartmouth Health, further refining her skills in compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals facing serious illness.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys hiking, skiing, singing, and attending live music events. She cherishes quality time with her family and is eager to embrace a new adventure by exploring New Hampshire’s scenic landscapes and outdoor activities.
